Summer Learning

Hamilton County Schools has several special summer learning opportunities available for students. These activities can provide a fun way to engage and entertain children at home while also keeping them on track to succeed in school. Opportunities include

* University of Tennessee online summer reading and writing program - call 1(800) 903-0029 or visit www.utk.readingclasses.org 

* i-Ready is available and accessible for all K-12th grade students

* Reading Eggs is available for Pre-K students

* The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will host a virtual summer camp for students grades K-12 now through July. Visit https://www.facebook.com/TNSustainability/ 

* InnovatED Summer Design Challenge Sign Ups - weekly STEAM activities with Monday and Friday ZOOM meetings June 15 through July 24. To sign up visit

Early Start Students - From July 6 through July 31, select students will be given the opportunity to get a  head start on the 2020-2021 school year. This will ensure they are on track when school starts back in the fall. Students who may need targeted intervention will be invited by email by their school.
